We are pleased to announce that we have recently achieved accreditation to ISO9001, ISO14001. As a company, we have always been committed to providing high quality products and services to our customers and the accreditation now recognises that commitment. A big thank you must go out to our staff for their hard work in the lead up to the successful audit.

Our most recent installation is a seven-stage, fully automated, aqueous cleaning and passivating system supplied to a manufacturer of medical devices. Our ‘Cleanline’ range of aqueous cleaning systems provide high-quality, ultrasonic cleaning and rinsing, suitable for a wide range of applications. SECURING THE FUTURE OF YOUR SOLVENT CLEANING PROCESS For many years, solvent cleaning has been widely accepted as a fast, effective way of removing oils, greases etc. from metal components. In its early days, the process, known as ‘vapour degreasing’ involved placing contaminated, metal components in hot solvent vapour, which would condense on the cooler metal and the generated liquid would dissolve any oil and grease present. When components were removed from the process, the residual solvent would evaporate, leaving parts clean and dry.

Another member of our equipment range has recently been installed and commissioned into a company based in the Northwest who are a supplier of filtration systems to the aerospace industry. This Cleanseal 500M ultrasonic, solvent cleaning machine has been chosen following the successful trials in Tergo MCF. This machine has allowed the company to replace older technology.

D&S Ultra-Clean are the new UK distributor for Microcare's Tergo MCF It is a safe, non-flammable cleaning fluid offering excellent cleaning performance and can be used in most vapour degreasing equipment with minimal modification.

The lasted MDM V2 Solvent degreasing system manufacturing by Union and supplied by D&S Ultra-Clean has been supplied to a aerospace sector company in the south of England. the machine supplied in the companies corporate colour scheme.

We recently installed this Cleanseal ultrasonic, solvent cleaning machine at a precision engineering company who needed to clean large quantities of machined components. The automatic basket handling system has the capability to rotate and/or oscillate the work basket, making it ideal for cleaning and drying of complex components that would otherwise trap significant amounts of the cleaning solvent. Our latest installation of a Union MDM V2 closed solvent cleaning system at one of our aerospace sector customers was for an application using Dowper MC (stabilsed Perchloroethylene). The installation also included the supply of a chiller unit providing closed loop cooling requirements for the machine. Again we were able to present the machine in the corporate colours of our customer.

NEW IMPROVED Biozone Bioremediating parts washer model launched.

Union RH machines incorporate a cylindrical cleaning chamber capable of housing single or multiple component baskets, which can be held static, rotated or oscillated during the cleaning and drying process. Consistent, effective cleaning is achieved by means of liquid immersion (single or multiple stages) combined with sprays. For particularly difficult applications, immersion stages can be supplemented with ultrasound. Components are dried using a combination of warm air and vacuum drying stages. The RH machines are PLC-controlled via a user-friendly, touch screen, operator interface, thus combining high-volume throughput capability with minimal operator intervention. Packages are also available to provide fully-automated basket loading and unloading.

A great start to 2021 with our first machine installation of the new year - this Cleanseal machine was recently installed and commissioned at a bearing manufacturer in the UK. Our manufacturing partner in Italy, MEG Srl, pulled out all the stops to get the machine ready for delivery during December to ensure it arrived into the country before Brexit transitional arrangements ended.

D&S Ultra-Clean have launched the 'Cleanseal' range of Solvent Cleaning systems. They offer an alternative to traditional degreasing using chlorinated solvents such as Trichloroethylene.

'Cleanseal' cleaning systems use low-toxicity, isoparaffinic hydrocarbons and A3 modified alcohols to combine high performance cleaning, ultra low emissions and guaranteed environmental compliance.
